About the Role

Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team and support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized support to students with ASD to promote their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with ASD.
  • Building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with ASD or Special Educational Needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits: A competitive salary of £30,000 per annum, including benefits such as flexible working hours and opportunities for professional development.

Location: Exeter and surrounding areas in Devon.
