About The Lakes Care Centre
We're seeking a skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our dedicated team at The Lakes Care Centre, a 64-bed care home in South Cerney, Cirencester. As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll play a vital role in creating delicious meals, snacks, and drinks for our residents, ensuring their mealtimes are always a highlight of their day.
About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about cooking, takes pride in kitchen hygiene standards, and has a positive can-do approach. You'll have good communication skills, be confident in engaging with our elderly residents, and enjoy being part of the wider team in the home.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals, snacks, and drinks for residents

Requirements
- No previous formal catering experience required, but a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable
- Positive can-do approach, good communication skills, and a passion for cooking
- Confidence in engaging with elderly residents and working as part of a team
