Job Title: Senior Family Support Worker

Corus Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Family Support Worker to join our team. As a Senior Family Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate the implementation of multi-agency plans of intervention to support children, young people, and their families.
  • Work in partnership with other practitioners, professionals, and agencies to provide a timely response to the needs of children, young people, and their families.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with children, young people, and their families to promote positive outcomes and achieve family goals.
  • Conduct assessments and develop effective support plans to address the needs of children, young people, and their families.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues and partners to promote evidence-based practice and improve outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
  • Act as a Designated Safeguarding Professional (DSP) and lead on safeguarding and child protection matters within the Family Support Service.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the effective delivery of the Family Support Service.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of working with children, young people, and their families in a family support or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, child protection, and safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-agency setting and build strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
