Job Title: Senior Family Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Family Support Worker to join our team at Corus Consultancy. As a Senior Family Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing high-quality support to children, young people, and their families, working in partnership with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the implementation of multi-agency plans of intervention to support children, young people, and their families.
  • Provide a timely response to the needs of children, young people, and their families, acting in accordance with local policies, procedures, and priorities.
  • Establish a high standard of practice in the delivery of family support services, achieving family outcomes and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Act as a champion in a specific practice area, delivering workshops and providing advice and support where relevant.
  • Participate in and deliver training and initiatives in a specialist/champion area, ensuring both yourself and the team's knowledge is kept up to date.
  • Convene, organise, and chair case planning and review meetings, including acting as lead professional under a multi-agency Integrated Support Plan where appropriate.
  • Act as a Designated Safeguarding Professional (DSP) within the Family Support Service.

Requirements:

  • Professional knowledge and skills to work in partnership with other practitioners/professionals, children, young people, and their families.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate the implementation of multi-agency plans of intervention.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary and professional integrated family support and safeguarding service.
  • Knowledge of local policies, procedures, and priorities.
