Job Title: Senior Family Hub Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Family Hub Worker to join our team at Corus Consultancy. As a key member of our family support service, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide a timely response to their needs and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the implementation of multi-agency plans of intervention to support children, young people, and their families.
  • Work in partnership with other practitioners, professionals, and agencies to provide a coordinated and effective response to the needs of children and families.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with children, young people, and their families to promote their participation in assessments and support plans.
  • Act as a Designated Safeguarding Professional (DSP) within the Family Support Service and develop effective multi-agency partnership working with key agencies.
  • Convene, organize, and chair case planning and review meetings, including acting as lead professional under a multi-agency Integrated Support Plan where appropriate.
  • Deliver a duty service for the hub on a regular basis as directed by Team manager and work outside normal office hours when required.
  • Promote equality of opportunity, diversity, and inclusion in the service area and actively promote the welfare and uphold the safeguarding of children and young people.

Requirements:

  • Professional knowledge and skills in working with children, young people, and their families.
  • Experience of working in a multi-agency setting and developing effective partnership working.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate the implementation of multi-agency plans of intervention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with children, young people, and their families.
  • Ability to work outside normal office hours when required.
