Key Responsibilities:- Supplier Qualification and Audits:
Assess and qualify new suppliers based on their capability to meet quality and HSE standards. Conduct regular audits of suppliers to ensure ongoing compliance with quality and HSE standards. - Sub-Contractor Management:
Oversee and manage sub-contractors from an HSE and quality perspective, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. - Issue Resolution:
Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality and HSE issues, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. - Relationship Management:
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure open communication and prompt resolution of any issues. - Forecasting and Reporting:
Forecast potential quality and HSE risks related to supplier and sub-contractor activities, and develop mitigation strategies.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in supply chain or manufacturing environments. Experience with supplier management and quality assurance processes, with a focus on HSE compliance.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, sub-contractors, and internal teams. Proficient in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, root cause analysis).
