About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team, providing specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions to children, young people, and their families.

As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health needs. You will be responsible for overseeing the specialist psychological assessment of children and adolescents, formulating their presentation, and delivering evidence-based psychological interventions.

The successful candidate will have a post-graduate doctorate in clinical psychology, full registration with the Health Professionals Council, and experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of children and adolescents. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions to children, young people, and their families
  • Oversee the specialist psychological assessment of children and adolescents, formulating their presentation and delivering evidence-based psychological interventions
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health needs
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, service users, and their families
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of psychological services within the team and across the organization
