Deputy Operations Manager

About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our Operations team. As Deputy Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing expert support to our Trip Leaders, ensuring they have the necessary resources and information to deliver exceptional experiences.
  • Developing and implementing operational systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Mentoring and coaching Trip Leaders to improve their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance our reputation.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least two years' experience in the travel industry, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Extensive knowledge of New Zealand's tourism industry, including its challenges and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, Trip Leaders, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
