Special Educational Needs Coordinator

The Governors of Snapethorpe Primary School are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SENCO to join their dedicated team. As a key member of the school community, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of our young people and raising standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the school's SEN policy and provision, working closely with the Head Teacher and other staff members. You will have a proven track record of excellence in SENCO roles and a passion for improving learning and progress for all children.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing the school's SEN policy and provision
- Leading the work of the school's Learning Mentors
- Providing professional guidance to colleagues and working closely with staff, parents, and other agencies
- Ensuring that all safeguarding and child protection matters are dealt with effectively
- Line managing the Assistant SENCO
