The ideal candidate will possess a recognized SLT degree or equivalent, be registered with the UK HCPC, and have experience working with families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. The role involves providing a comprehensive highly specialist speech & language therapy service to children with complex communication needs and eating difficulties. Key responsibilities include assessing and treating own caseload of patients/clients, maintaining professional documentation, and supervising junior staff.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Highly Specialist Pediatric Speech and Language Therapist. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, independence in managing dysphagia within a pediatric population, and experience in using assessment techniques for managing patients with dysphagia and complex needs. Salary range: £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide a comprehensive highly specialist speech & language therapy service to children with complex communication needs and eating difficulties.
* Assess and treat own caseload of patients/clients, including those requiring enteral feeding.
* Maintain professional documentation, including reports regarding clients' needs and proposed care plans.
* Supervise junior staff, including Speech & Language Therapists, Assistants, and students.

Requirements
* Recognized SLT degree or equivalent.
* Current AHP with UK HCPC registration.
* Member of a relevant Clinical Excellence Network.
* Experience working with families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, independence in managing dysphagia within a pediatric population, and experience in using assessment techniques for managing patients with dysphagia and complex needs.
