About the Role:

As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist with the Central London Community Health Trust, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. This role is ideal for a highly motivated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality services to children with complex communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive and seamless service aiming to improve and maintain functional communication and eating/drinking skills.
  • Conduct highly specialist assessments, using evidence-based practice and outcome measurement to provide the most effective treatment to clients and their families within clearly defined care plans.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and carers to develop personalized care plans, ensuring their active participation and engagement in the therapeutic process.
  • Contribute to the development of the service, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and support junior staff members, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their professional growth and development.
