About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our clinical team in Central London. As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and highly specialist service to children with complex communication needs and eating and drinking difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat patients with complex communication needs and eating and drinking difficulties
  • Work closely with other members of the multi-professional team to provide a seamless service
  • Identify clients who need support from other agencies and liaise with them as appropriate
  • Carry out specialist physical examination of the orofacial process and make appropriate clinical decisions
  • Adapt practice to meet individual clients and families circumstances

Requirements

  • Recognised SLT degree or equivalent
  • Current AHP with UK HCPC registration
  • Member of a relevant Clinical Excellence Network
  • Evidence of competence in managing complex dysphagic patients
