This Rural Midwifery Lead position with Hywel Dda University Health Board offers an exciting opportunity to work in the Tair Sir/Three Counties Community Team, delivering midwifery care to women and their families in rural Wales.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for coordinating care for high-risk pregnancies and promoting home births. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required, along with experience of mentoring and developing staff.

The salary for this role is approximately £31,800 - £43,041 per annum.

  • Essential: Registered Midwife with full NMC registration, Portfolio of CPD, Completed HDUHB preceptorship programme
  • Desirable: ALLO (Advanced Life Support Obstetrics), NALS (Neonatal Advanced Life Support)
