Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental Professional to join our team at Matchtech. As a SHEQ Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Conduct site audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on health, safety, and environmental procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry standards, ensuring that our policies and procedures remain compliant.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH/NCRQ Level 6 (or NVQ Level 5 minimum) qualification.
  • EUSR or CSCS certification.
  • NRSWA (SWQR) qualification.
  • Familiarity with HSG47.
  • Experience in the Power, Fibre, Water, or Gas sectors.
  • Knowledge of accident/incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
