About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our team at CareTech Group. As a key member of our foster care team, you will play a vital role in building positive relationships between foster parents, children's social workers, and our organization.

Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure foster parents are informed, supported, and empowered to provide high-quality care to children in their placement. You will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of our foster care services, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with foster parents, children's social workers, and other key stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and support to foster parents to ensure they are aware of and comply with OFSTED regulations and national minimum standards
  • Conduct regular visits to foster placements to monitor the well-being of children and provide feedback to foster parents
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify and address any issues or concerns related to foster care
  • Participate in out-of-hours rota to provide emergency support to foster parents and children
