Job Title: Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer

CV Library is working in partnership with an award-winning Utilities Services provider to the Local Authority and Social Housing sector to find a skilled Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to work on one of our client's prestigious contracts in the Richmond area. The successful candidate will have a strong background in gas servicing, repair, and maintenance, as well as excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out gas servicing, repair, and maintenance on gas boilers and appliances.
  2. Conduct statutory gas safety tests and servicing in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations.
  3. Perform minor works arising from safety tests/servicing.
  4. Issue safety certificates to tenants and office staff.
  5. Leave areas in a clean and tidy condition at the end of each job.
  6. Participate in a rota system for call-outs, including up to 1 in 4 call-outs at peak times.
Requirements:
  1. Gas Safe qualification and suitable experience (2+ years).
  2. Qualifications including CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, WAT1, WAH1, CEN1, CPA1, MET1, City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or NVQ Level 2 with gas option.
  3. A full UK Driving Licence.
  4. The ability to undertake gas safety testing and inspection in accordance with current regulations.
  5. A flexible approach to working out of hours.
