Job Title: Domestic Gas Breakdown Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Domestic Gas Breakdown Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our utility services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional gas servicing, repair, and maintenance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out gas servicing, repair, and maintenance on gas boilers and appliances.
  • Conduct statutory gas safety tests and servicing in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Perform minor works arising from safety tests/servicing.
  • Issue safety certificates to clients and request follow-on works as necessary.
  • Ensure areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each job.
  • Participate in a call-out rota, with up to 1 in 4 call-outs at peak periods.
Requirements:
  • Gas Safe qualification and suitable experience (2+ years).
  • Hold qualifications including CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, WAT1, WAH1, CEN1, CPA1, MET1, City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or NVQ Level 2 with gas option.
  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
  • Be able to undertake gas safety testing and inspection in accordance with current regulations.
  • Be flexible and able to work out of hours as required.
