Job Title: Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer

Example Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading Utilities Services provider to fill a Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer position on a prestigious Social Housing contract.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to work in the Richmond area on a full-time PAYE permanent basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to earn a competitive salary with a Schedule of Rates paid on top, resulting in an OTE of £85,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform gas servicing, repair, and maintenance on gas boilers and appliances.
  2. Deliver high levels of customer service and professionalism while undertaking statutory gas safety tests and servicing.
  3. Carry out minor works arising from safety tests/servicing.
  4. Issue safety certificates to tenants and office staff, and request follow-on works as necessary.
  5. Ensure areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each job.
  6. Participate in a call-out rota, with up to 1 in 4 call-outs at peak periods.
Requirements:
  1. Hold a Gas Safe qualification and have suitable experience (2+ years).
  2. Hold qualifications including CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, WAT1, WAH1, CEN1, CPA1, MET1, City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or NVQ Level 2 with gas option.
  3. Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
  4. Be able to undertake gas safety testing and inspection in accordance with current regulations.
  5. Be flexible and able to work out of hours as required.
