We are seeking a highly skilled Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support to a pupil with Autism and Hearing Impairment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Autism and Makaton training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to a pupil with Autism and Hearing Impairment
  • Utilize Makaton training daily to aid the pupil's learning
  • Help the pupil raise their engagement and attainment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with Autism
  • Makaton training
  • Experience working in schools and knowledge of working against a support plan/behaviour plan
  • Foundational BSL
  • Experience of working with Hearing impairment
