Teaching Assistant for Special Needs Students

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Secondary SEN school. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to make a real difference in the life of a pupil with Autism and Hearing Impairment.
About the Role:You will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to the student, utilizing your Makaton training and BSL knowledge. Collaborating closely with the teaching staff, you will help develop and implement personalized learning plans, ensuring the student achieves their full potential.
Requirements:- At least 2 years' experience working with children with Autism.
- Makaton training.
- Foundational BSL knowledge.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
A salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience) awaits the successful candidate. Additionally, you will receive funding for DBS certification and ongoing professional development opportunities.
