Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Plymouth, responsible for carrying out first-line fault diagnosis, providing technical support to assembly teams, and working with the team to ensure manufacturing targets are met through equipment modification.

Responsibilities:
  • Electro-Mechanical Fault Diagnosis: Perform timely and methodical problem-solving to diagnose and repair electro-mechanical faults.
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Conduct PPM and refurbish offline machinery and ancillaries as required.
  • Equipment Setup and Quality Control: Ensure manufacturing equipment is set up correctly and meets Quality Control specifications and standards while complying with HSE requirements.
  • Line Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor line performance, proactively identifying and rectifying bottlenecks and areas of waste.
  • New Equipment Installation and Validation: Support the installation and validation of new equipment and technology, ensuring a smooth transfer to production.
Requirements and Qualifications:

Candidates must have proven engineering experience in high-volume automated manufacturing environments and certification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds, HND, HNC, BTEC, or Time-Served Apprenticeship). Immediate right to work in the UK is also required.
