Manufacturing Operations Role

SPEQ RECRUITMENT is seeking a Production Equipment Technician to join their team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for technical and processing activities, including operating machinery, equipment maintenance, and fault-finding tasks.

Main Responsibilities
  • Covering breaks, operating production machinery, assembling products, and pallet release duties.
  • Performing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and refurbishing offline machinery.
  • Diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical faults.
  • Setting up manufacturing equipment to produce products meeting required standards.
  • Monitoring in-process quality, resolving issues to prevent product holds.
  • Minimising downtime while staying within planned repair and spare part costs.

The ideal candidate will have a qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (e.g., C&G, HND) or completion of a time-served apprenticeship, along with proven experience in a high-volume, highly automated manufacturing environment.
