Care Home Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bank Admin Assistant to support our care home in Barchester. The ideal candidate will provide administrative assistance, handle phone calls, manage files, and collaborate with managers to deliver exceptional care services to residents.
This is a dynamic role that requires strong multitasking skills, proficiency in computer applications, and excellent communication skills. As an Admin Assistant, you will play a vital part in creating a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues alike.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Responding to phone calls and handling inquiries in a professional manner
- Managing files and maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Supporting managers with administrative tasks, including data entry and document preparation
- Welcoming visitors, engaging with residents, and providing tours of the facility to promote a positive image
- Providing backup during peak periods or absences of colleagues to maintain seamless operations
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must be able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to maintain confidentiality. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability are also key requirements.
