About This Role

As a talented data analyst, you will be working closely with industry experts to develop skills and expertise in royalty data analysis. Our fast-growing team provides high-quality valuations and insightful due diligence services to our clients, including financial investors, copyright holders, and publishers.

Key responsibilities will include interpretation of data using analytics tools, forecasting, valuation analysis, and drafting reports. You will also learn about the flow of royalties, pitfalls of data, facets of different rights types, and how to read publishing/record deals. Your role will involve assisting clients throughout the deal process and beyond.

To succeed in this position, you will need a foundational understanding of royalties and previous experience handling royalty data. You should also be able to interpret music agreements and have experience using SQL queries and handling databases. Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in building standalone models from scratch and basic VBA/other coding knowledge, are also essential. A high-level understanding of basic accounting concepts and company financials is also required.
