Part-time Royalties Executive Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Part-time Royalties Executive to join our team at a renowned digital publisher. As a Royalties Executive, you will play a key role in managing subrights royalties and ensuring seamless royalty payments and accurate data management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing Subrights, Royalties, and Processing royalty statements to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Royalty Accuracy Checks, reviewing incoming royalty statements, cross-referencing with contracts, and verifying royalty rates.
  • Regular Payment Schedules, arranging biweekly payments to authors.
  • Month-End Reconciliation, liaising with the central accounting team to close out each month's records.
  • Collaborating on a Custom Data System, working with Rights and Operations teams to develop a bespoke royalties data management system.
  • Tracking deals, monitoring incoming royalty statements, and managing outstanding payments.
  • Debt Control and Queries, following up on outstanding balances.

In this role, you will have the chance to work closely with our clients' royalties and finance operations function, ensuring accurate reporting, timely payments, and optimising subrights profitability.

The ideal candidate will have experience in royalties or finance within publishing, strong attention to detail, data management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Rights teams.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience).
