EYFS SEN Learning Support Specialist

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated EYFS SEN Learning Support Specialist to join our team at REESON Education. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with young people with severe learning difficulties in a supportive and inclusive environment.
About the Role:
This Reception Teaching Assistant position involves providing one-on-one support to students, helping them engage with their learning and develop independence, literacy, and mathematics skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with class teachers to raise the learning of pupils
- Promote pupil's independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion
- Provide support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement
- Support with planning, preparation, and resourcing for lessons that promote play-based learning
- Facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities
- Use effective behaviour management strategies consistently in line with the school's policy and procedures
- Organise and manage teaching space and resources to help maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment
Requirements:
- Enjoyment of working with young people
- Experience working with EYFS SEN students or students in a nursery setting
- Sensitivity and understanding to help build good relationships with pupils
- A commitment to getting the best outcomes for all pupils
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Commitment to safeguarding pupil's well-being and equality
