Medical Assistant Coordinator

About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our client's busy surgery as a Part-time Receptionist. The role will involve providing administrative support, processing medical records, and communicating with patients in a courteous and helpful manner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing of medical records and data entry
* Processing of new registrations and making up new files
* General filing and bookkeeping
* Prompt telephone answering and communication with patients
* Booking of appointments for clinical colleagues
* Accurately recording messages and communicating information
Requirements:
* Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Familiarity with computer systems and software
Working Arrangements:
* Afternoon surgery shifts: 13.15-20.00 on Mondays, 13.15-18.30 Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
* No regular weekend or bank holiday work
* Opportunities for overtime to cover annual leave or sickness may arise, but this would be discussed in advance
Salary Information:
We estimate the salary for this role to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
