Imaging Assistant Specialist

A new opportunity has arisen for an Imaging Assistant Specialist to join Healthshare Ltd's Prisons Service team. As an Imaging Assistant Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting patients during clinics and working closely with Sonographers and Radiologists.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to delivering diagnostic services and patient care. They will also require business car insurance due to regular travel to different sites.
The role involves:
- Coordinating the smooth running of clinics
- Providing assistance with patient care and comfort
- Supporting Sonographers and Radiologists during examinations
- Preparing the clinical environment prior to sessions
- Utilizing patient information systems
- Maintaining inventory levels and ordering necessary supplies
- Promoting a patient-centred and quality-focused approach
- Ensuring patient access to a chaperone
