Job Details

We are recruiting a Support Worker to join our team, working with adults who require support with daily living tasks and personal care. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement individualized support plans, promoting independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To participate in the development and implementation of individualized support plans, prioritizing the needs and goals of service users
  • Maintain effective communication with service users, families, and colleagues, respecting confidentiality and professional boundaries
  • Perform tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry, as well as maintaining accurate records as required
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide exceptional care and support, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture
  • Assist with personal care tasks, prioritizing dignity and respect at all times
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one
  • Experience supporting adults with complex needs, including learning disabilities and mental health issues
  • Confidence working independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for working with vulnerable adults and commitment to safeguarding
