Lead Product Owner

At Hewett Recruitment, we are seeking a seasoned Product Visionary to lead our Product Team and drive our product strategy and development.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to champion agile methodologies and foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and collaboration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading by example, guiding a team of Product Owners in delivering products that align with market needs, and working collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy.

The Role:
  • Lead Product Owner: Guide a team of Product Owners in delivering products that align with market needs.
  • Agile Methodologies Champion: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and collaboration.
  • Product Vision and Strategy: Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Use data-driven insights and product frameworks to influence decision-making and deliver maximum value to our users and the business.
  • Change Catalyst: Operate effectively within a transformational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentorship: Mentor Product Owners and Business Analysts, promoting teamwork and building strong relationships.
  • Task Prioritization: Prioritise tasks to ensure alignment with business objectives and maximise value.
  • Product Metrics: Monitor product metrics and recommend enhancements to improve business value.
  • Product Roadmaps: Craft and evolve product roadmaps, using them as a key communication tool.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively, demonstrating flexibility in scope management to achieve common goals.
What You'll Need:
  • Agile Experience: Strong experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies as a Product Owner/Manager.
  • Customer Relationship Skills: Excellent customer relationship and negotiation skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the Insurance and Broking industry, including digital web journeys Q&B and Self-Service.
  • DevOps Familiarity: Familiarity with DevOps or JIRA.
  • Certified Agile Product Owner: A Certified Agile Product Owner qualification is essential.
