Tax Manager 12 Month Contract

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our tax team, you will be responsible for managing the direct and indirect tax compliance processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
About the Role
You will support the management of tax compliance processes, including corporation tax, VAT, and plastics tax. You will also oversee the monthly group and annual statutory accounts reporting process as it relates to tax. Additionally, you will assist the team in dealing with tax enquiries and queries from HMRC.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage tax compliance processes, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Oversee the monthly group and annual statutory accounts reporting process as it relates to tax
- Assist the team in dealing with tax enquiries and queries from HMRC
- Support the team in providing tax guidance, advice, and support across all taxes to the business and wider organisation
- Assist on various ad hoc tasks, projects, and transactions, including tax governance related issues
- Support the implementation of global tax policies, including transfer pricing
Requirements
You will be a qualified accountant or tax professional with previous in-house experience at Manager level. Exposure to multiple taxes, both direct and indirect, is an advantage. Excellent written and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work autonomously and research as needed.
What We Offer
You will receive a salary of up to £800 per day. Flexible working options are available, including hybrid working after two weeks, with 3 days at home and 2 in the office.
