Tax Manager 12 Month FTC

Your new company is a leading brand in the Pharmaceutical industry with a global footprint. We have an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. The ideal candidate will start in November to ensure a smooth handover. Initially, the role will be office-based for the first two weeks, followed by hybrid working with two days in the office and three days at home.
Key Responsibilities- Support the management of direct and indirect tax compliance processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Oversee the monthly group and annual statutory accounts reporting process as it relates to tax.
- Assist the team in dealing with tax enquiries and queries from HMRC.
- Provide tax guidance, advice, and support across all taxes to the business and wider organisation.
- Prepare and submit annual PSA reports (assisted by an external provider).
- Assist with various ad-hoc tasks, projects, and transactions, including tax governance-related issues.
- Support the implementation of global tax policies, including transfer pricing.
We are looking for a qualified accountant or tax professional with previous in-house experience at Manager level. Exposure to multiple taxes, both direct and indirect, is an advantage. Excellent written and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work autonomously and research as needed.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary of up to £800 per day, flexible working options, and hybrid working arrangements. You will report to the Director of Tax and receive support from the team.
