Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the commercial team in delivering commercial duties for our Rolls Royce projects.
  • Procure and manage our supply chain to minimize costs and enhance value for money.
  • Work with the project manager and single-source contractor to achieve value engineering reductions.
  • Estimate and interpret specifications and drawings to prepare bills of quantities and schedules of rates.
  • Plan commercial activities to meet program requirements and review delay and disruption programs.
  • Use the company's Evolution MX System to prepare and submit claims, including monthly valuations and final accounts.
  • Manage subcontract activities, measure and respond to applicable notices, and prepare cost reconciliation statements.
  • Undertake customer and stakeholder management, vet contractual terms and conditions, and manage cash flow.
Requirements:
  • BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in the role of a Quantity Surveyor within the building/construction/building service industries.
  • Competent user of IT software packages, including MS Office.
  • Commitment to providing a high-quality service, demonstrating reliability, conscientiousness, and flexibility.
