Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Empowering Learning. The successful candidate will work with students across all ages in a SEMH / EBD school, alternative provision, PRU or Primary School.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide behaviour support, learning and progress for students with SEMH statements
- Work with students in a class of up to 8 students
- Use excellent communication skills, initiative and work well under pressure
Requirements:
- Recent experience with children with EBD, SEMH and other challenging behaviours
- Excellent communication skills and ability to use initiative
