About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Thurlow Church of England (VC) Primary School. The successful candidate will provide support to a small number of pupils with special educational needs in Reception and Key Stage 1, as well as work with groups of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with special educational needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Assist with the delivery of lessons and activities, promoting engagement and participation among pupils
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a sense of community and respect among pupils, staff, and parents

Requirements
  • Appropriate level of expertise, qualifications, and/or experience in supporting pupils with special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
