Learning Support Assistant

Job Role: Learning Support Assistant
Visa Sponsorship: Visas cannot be sponsored.
Working Pattern: Part-time (33.75 hours per week / 37 weeks per year)
Contract Type: Permanent
Pay Scale: Grade 3 Spinal Point 4 (FTE £23,114 / Actual £17,225)
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Support learning and development of children in Early Years
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Work with children with significant SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH needs
- Provide personalized learning experiences to children with SEND
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning strategies
- Contribute to the development of a supportive and caring school community
Requirements:
- Level 3 Learning Support Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Good English and Maths skills
- Experience in Early Years or a related field
- Ability to work effectively with children with diverse needs and abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and willingness to support children in a variety of situations
