About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Reed. As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and developing strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Business Growth: Achieve pre-agreed budgeted margins for your designated area and manage the debt ledger, including the collection of payments.
  • Strategic Account Management: Deliver targets on driving brands in partnership with brand partners, providing exceptional customer service, and managing accounts from start to finish.
  • Team Collaboration: Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless operations and organize technical installations for draught beer dispensing equipment.
  • Client Engagement: Offer advice on promotional activities to help customers grow their businesses and liaise with brand representatives to promote own brand products effectively.
Requirements
  • Valid Driving Licence: Must possess a valid driving licence for customer site visits.
  • Customer Service: Demonstrated excellence in customer service and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing spreadsheets and records.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Strong teamwork, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the drinks industry and on-trade market.
  • Qualifications: WSET Level 1 qualification is preferred but not essential, and experience in wine sales, particularly in the on-trade sector, is highly desirable.
  • Track Record: A solid track record in sales and achieving growth targets.
