Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Newman Stewart Ltd. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand our customer base, market share, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting new clients, developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and forming strategic partnerships
  • Providing insights and recommendations based on sales data and market analysis
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, research partners, and other stakeholders
  • Working as a proactive member of the business leadership team, aligning closely with Group Leaders to actively drive the future success of the business units
  • Making regular customer visits, supported by technical specialists, to identify leads, develop new business proposals, and deliver commercially successful projects
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a B2B commercial, business development, or sales role, with a keen focus on new customers
  • Highly customer-focused with experience building strategic partnerships
  • Track record of delivering sales targets while maintaining excellent customer service and quality
  • Experience with communicating effectively to senior executives internally and externally
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for innovation, technology, and sustainability
  • Willingness to embrace change and accept new responsibilities, with the ability to work under pressure
