About the Role:

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Support Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and a commitment to providing high-quality support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance to students with SEND, particularly SEMH.
  • Assist in the implementation of EHCPs.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere for students' academic and personal development.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with students with SEND, SEMH, and associated difficulties is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Compassionate and patient approach towards supporting students' individual needs.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in supporting individuals with SEND is desirable.
  • Enhanced DBS.
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes.
