Clinical Coding Lead Specialist

The position of Clinical Coding Lead Specialist is available within the NHS organization. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in clinical coding, who can provide expert guidance and leadership to the Clinical Coding Team.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the Clinical Coding Team to ensure accurate and timely completion of coding tasks.
- Provide expert clinical coding guidance and support to team members.
- Maintain and improve coding quality standards to secure Trust income.
- Supervise and train new and less experienced coding staff.
- Implement Income Recovery projects to optimize revenue.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant field.
- 7 years of experience in clinical coding, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of improving coding quality and increasing revenue.
