We are looking for an experienced Residential Care Team Leader to join our team in Preston. About the Job:

  1. Lead shifts and ensure the smooth operation of our residential homes.
  2. Support the Registered Manager in maintaining high standards of care and quality assurance.
  3. Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  4. Maintain accurate records and contribute to regular monitoring and evaluation processes.
  5. Participate in team and staff meetings to promote collaboration and professional development.
  6. Deliver person-centred care and support to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and educational well-being.
  7. Organise social activities and outings to enhance the overall quality of life for our residents.

Key Requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
  • A desire to pursue a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent Children & Young People workforce qualification is desirable.
  • 12 months experience working in a Residential setting is highly desirable but not essential.
  • DBS and reference checks will be conducted in line with government regulations and safer recruitment best practices.
