Job Title: Landscaping Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Landscaping Team Leader to join our team at Cole & Yates Recruitment Ltd. This is a permanent position based near Gloucester, with a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small team of soft landscapers, installing soft landscaping on new build housing developments, and ensuring the efficient and safe completion of projects. They will work closely with project managers, site managers, and office teams to maintain high standards and ensure the smooth operation of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of soft landscapers to ensure the efficient and safe completion of projects.
  • Install soft landscaping on new build housing developments, including plants, trees, and other features.
  • Conduct weekly van checks to ensure all necessary equipment is in good working order.
  • Work closely with project managers, site managers, and office teams to maintain high standards and ensure the smooth operation of the team.
  • Check tools, oversee team sign-ins, and ensure any necessary permits are secured.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years' experience in soft landscaping, including team leading and management.
  • A good knowledge of plants and trees, including their care and maintenance.
  • The ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • A valid driving license and a mobile phone for clocking in and communication.
  • Ideal candidates will have a CSCS card and experience of soft landscaping on new build housing sites.
