£80,000 - £110,000 per annum depending on experience.

Job Description

The Renewable Energy Portfolio Lead will be responsible for overseeing the technical and commercial performance of PV and EV assets across Europe. This role involves managing the business unit's profit and loss statement, reporting directly to the Chief Executive. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering significant growth, particularly in the UK and Europe;
  • Setting and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive team performance;
  • Identifying new business opportunities for asset management services;
  • Preparing and delivering new business proposals to win new clients and additional business from existing customers;
  • Developing a marketing plan to drive the delivery of the AM business unit profit and loss statement;
  • Ensuring that the systems managed by the asset management business unit meet performance targets in line with client contracts;
  • Establishing and maintaining quality control processes to ensure regulatory compliance;
  • Overseeing the onboarding of new systems, providing regular updates and reports to the CEO;
  • Identifying and mitigating risks across portfolios to safeguard business interests;
  • Building and managing supply chains, including contractors, metering platforms, monitoring platforms, and technical advisers, to meet client needs;
  • Oversight of procurement processes, including tender development, contract negotiation, and supply chain performance monitoring;
  • Ensuring high standards in service delivery, health & safety, commercial performance, and risk management across the portfolio;
  • Demonstrating the ability to deliver the budgeted profit and loss statement of the asset management business unit;
  • Introducing innovative solutions that improve client services and business operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A proven track record in the technical management of renewable energy assets (EV, PV, BESS) or transferable experience from managing third-party assets (e.g., HVAC, heating controls, building control systems) in a commercial property environment;
  • Strong commercial acumen, experience in managing technical and financial performance;
  • Demonstrable experience in effectively managing teams;
  • Proficiency in using software solutions for managing large data sets and asset performance;
  • Familiarity with European markets and the ability to manage portfolios of assets in a commercial property environment across multiple countries.
