About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relief Van Sales Driver to join our team at Allied Bakeries. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering bakery products to our customers, ensuring that our products are displayed and merchandised to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver bakery products to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working order
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tachograph records and company key control procedures
  • Maximise sales and contribute to sales growth of our company brands
  • Develop close working relationships with key decision makers within stores
  • Ensure all products are correctly charged to the relevant customer and record any returns
  • Ensure products are delivered on time and in full within agreed time windows
  • Collect and return all baskets on a daily basis
Requirements
  • Category 2 (Category C) Professional Driver's License
  • Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and influence others
  • Flexibility and co-operation to assist in meeting business needs
  • Experience of delivering to or working in a sales environment
  • Digital Driver's Card desirable
  • Merchandising experience desirable
