Job Title: Digital Project Administrator / Assistant / Junior Project Manager

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £24,000 - £29,000 per annum

Position: Permanent, Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support our Project Team with administrative tasks associated with running projects, business admin, and customer communication. As a Junior Project Manager, you will also manage small to medium-sized projects with guidance and support.

Job Role:

This role is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working in a tech business and develop skills in project coordination, customer communication, and team collaboration. You will work closely with our Programme Manager to ensure the smooth delivery of projects and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Liaise with customers to provide project updates and resolve issues via email and phone.
  2. Coordinate our internal customer-support-ticket system (Jira Service Desk) to ensure timely responses to client requests.
  3. Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
  4. Test web and mobile app projects to ensure they meet project specifications and graphic designs.
  5. Liaise with external suppliers to coordinate their output with project requirements.
  6. Raise issues in our project management software (Atlassian Jira).
  7. Review and verify client feedback during user acceptance testing.
  8. Input client-provided content onto websites.
  9. Monitor project progress and identify potential risks.
  10. Describe app features from wireframes and write them into project specification documents.
  11. Create and maintain project documentation.
Requirements:
  • Able to prioritize work across multiple projects.
  • Proficient in using Word and Excel, including basic Excel formulas.
