About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Cabling Project Manager to join our team at Digital Waffle. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing data cabling and fibre optic projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead and manage data cabling and fibre optic installation projects at large commercial sites, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Financial Accountability: Take full responsibility for project financials, including budgeting, cost estimation, and financial reporting.
  • Client Satisfaction: Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication, project updates, and issue resolution.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards, including industry regulations and company policies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors, to deliver projects successfully.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess strong technical knowledge in data communications, including structured cabling systems and relevant industry standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate analytical problem-solving skills to resolve project-related issues and challenges.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in copper and fibre network infrastructure installation and containment.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications, such as CTPM, CNIDP, C&G, or health and safety certifications (e.g., SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH), are desirable.
  • Skills: Strong project management expertise, excellent technical knowledge, effective team management, and strong communication and presentation abilities.
