About the Job:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team in secondary schools across Chesterfield. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in providing day-to-day supply cover for our students and supporting the smooth running of our classrooms.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students during the absence of their regular teacher
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans, ensuring a calm and productive learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior, maintaining high standards of discipline and focus
- Provide assistance to students as needed and ensure safeguarding policies are followed
About You:
We are looking for individuals who possess excellent communication and classroom management skills, are confident and enthusiastic about working with secondary-aged students, and have prior experience working with young people (desirable but not essential). As a flexible and adaptable team player, you will be able to build rapport with students and staff while creating a positive and safe learning environment.
What We Offer:
A competitive daily rate of pay (£75-£120 per day) and a flexible working schedule tailored to your availability will enable you to choose when and where you work. You will also have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools across Chesterfield and gain valuable experience in a classroom setting.
Estimated Salary: £18,000 - £30,000 per annum
