About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Specialist Nurse - IV Therapies. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes, administering a range of IV therapies as specified in patient care plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients in their own homes, adhering to clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Administer IV therapies as specified in patient care plans, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Conduct holistic assessments of patients' needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing personalized care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration.
  • Experience in IV therapy administration and patient care in a home healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of therapies and drugs relevant to service offering, including NHS knowledge relating to the management of patients with treated conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
