Locum Consultant Radiologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologist to join our team as a Locum Consultant. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and be part of a supportive and collaborative team.

About the Role

This is a full-time post on a 10 PA basis, with the possibility of up to 2 EPA's for additional clinical activity. The post will be based at University Hospital Hairmyres, with some sessions potentially taking place at other hospital sites within the Health Board.

As a Locum Consultant Radiologist, you will be responsible for contributing to the evening and weekend daytime on-site working for reporting plain films, USS, and CT. You will also be part of an on-call rota, providing support and guidance to colleagues as needed.

About the Team

You will be joining a team of friendly and hardworking colleagues who are dedicated to delivering excellent patient care. We are part of the West of Scotland Clinical Network and work closely with Regional Cancer MDTs. Involvement in MDTs is strongly encouraged, and we have strong links with Glasgow University and the University of Strathclyde.

About the Location

NHS Lanarkshire is situated to the east, south, and south-west of Glasgow, offering easy access to the city and its amenities. We are also close to the beautiful Clyde Valley and the Ayrshire coast. Good schools and affordable housing are available in the area, making it an attractive place to live and work.
