About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Maintenance Controller to join our expanding Compliance team based in Castleford.

As an HGV Maintenance Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of scheduled and reactive maintenance activities for commercial vehicles.

You will be responsible for ensuring commercial vehicles in your regional area of responsibility are on Key2, vehicle maintenance schedule is set up, maintenance records and events are monitored and compliant, including PMI, MOT's & RFL expiry dates.

You will also be responsible for allocating maintenance activities to internal/external maintenance providers, raising POs, completing work, and uploading compliance paperwork onto the Fleet Management System.

What You'll Bring
  • Experience of working within a transport environment, managing commercial vehicle maintenance activities.
  • Sound knowledge of DVSA's guide to maintaining roadworthiness.
  • Capability to take ownership/responsibility, demonstrated through your actions and behaviours.
  • Customer-focused, with effective communication skills, and committed to delivering high standards of customer service.
  • Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Category B Driving Licence.
